The mission of the Chattanooga Zoo is to provide an educational and recreational opportunity for all
citizens of the community. The educational mission stresses an understanding of, and respect for, all living things. A strong commitment to conservation for generations to come is implicit in this mission. The Chattanooga Zoo seeks to provide a dignified and aesthetically pleasing environment for the animals.
Fall/Winter Applications are being taken now, deadline for internship applications is August 22!
Right Now: We are posting specific spots available needed throughout the year:
- Tour Guides(Docent): Anytime Friday,Saturday, or Sunday 9:30-3
- Petting Zoo Supervisor: 11-1 anyday
- Docents for special events: Hours and times vary
- Seamstress: Hours vary
- Pressure Washer: hours vary
